Characterised by his boundless energy and contagious enthusiasm, Chris Burns from Washington, D.C. Makes his debut on Ultra Nate's brand new label, 410 Paradox Underground. 'Legends' takes the lead on this release with a percussion-heavy instrumental peppered with vocal snippets recorded at the 2011 Legends Ball at the Paradox. The "Walk Dub" strips the track to its bare essentials and lets the drums and bass do the work for the ciphers and runways. 'Shake!', featuring the voice of DC's Ra.Free, harkens a familiar sound from house music's past with strong basslines, in-your-face melodies and soaring vocals. Looking forward to a more contemporary, groove heavy approach, 'We Get Deep' rattles bass bins with its interwoven lower frequency layers and ethereal textures. Co-written and performed by singer Denise Henderson and guitarist/oudist/kalimba player Michelle Webb, 'I'm Free' is an organic and emotional piece that takes on a sublime self-reflection. Rounding off the release is 'Hey Mick', a catchy foot-stomping,handclapping floor-filler that balances Iberic guitars, driving tribal drums, and a contagious vocal sample offered up by the The Dance Party's Mick Coogan.
