New signing to Tim Healey's label is 19 year old Ralfstar. 'We Aint Rich' is a soaring climactic journey into electro echelons to get the goose bumps raised and feet firmly on the dance floor with a slight touch of Daft Punk, 4/4 funk and a staccato synth. 'Gold Child' sees more arms in the air moments with shiny electro synth pads and gnarly bass lines.

Electro
Buzzing, rasping, main room electro shenanigans from two of Brazil's 'There so hot right now' duos.
Felguk have been asked by Madonna herself for a remix, while Dirtyloud have been gaining support at electro, dubstep and D n' B for their masterful bass manipulation. A tale of two parts. Clinical beats and a sinister minimal parping bass, akin to a furious wasp caught in a bottle and amplified, gradually mutating with undulating tweaks, that erupt into swathes of silken euphoric synths for the e...
Moguai has grown and grown over the past few years with tracks like Optinuum and remixes such as Felix Da Housecat 'Zaman' (Moguai Remix) and the excellent Afrojack 'Bangduck' (Moguai Remix). The German now takes on a mash up of his own 'Push The Tempo' and Fat Boy Slims classic 'Ya Mama', and in the process creates an uncontrollable boisterous DJ weapon that will take a heavy toll on dancefloors across the world. Expect to hear a lot more from him, as he is currently at the later stages of th...
From the label not afraid to spread their musical genre wings an EP of bass heavy machinations, touching on Breaks, Tech House and Techno. Si Begg delivers a slab of whirring, hypnotising, 4/4 clunking and funking bass heavy electronica. Travino's breaks remix is the sound of summer festivals, lush shimmering sound scapes, but much deeper than that, with layers simultaneously brooding and twinkling, both intricate and gloriously expansive in their synthesized beauty. Rhythmatic gets all ...
Many moons ago Rhythim is Rhythim (Derrick May) 'Strings of Life' literally changed my life with one of the most influential house/techno records ever made. And now we fast-forward over 20 years (oh my God is it that long ago!!!) for Crystal Distortian's version.. So what a tune to remix! A Good way to get the kids into the old classic with its tropical bass, electro leanings and keeping the all-important piano riff intact. High Rankin, master of the disgustingly filthy bass line, and uncompro...
'Take Control' is the latest single from Tim Healey's new LP 'Rest In Beats'. Teaming up with fellow Brightonians, Atomic Drop, and Surfer Rosa all-star, SirReal, for a slab of peak-time party action. Healey must never sleep! Always a reliable purveyor of sleazey party electro bass line pumpers! On remix duty, Hedflux supplies his trademark rolling bass and slick sounds for the tech funk breaks massive, complete with half speed spaz-step break down.
Zen Death Squad go all out mumbaton with thei...
The fourth single from Tim Healey's album 'Rest In Beats' sees Tim team up with Freqhouse for his most commercial sounding release to date. More peak time stomping shimmering electro with truck loads of bottom end plus cute catchy female pop vox and cheeky urban male mc stylings from Loc E. Mark Instinct smashes through the doors with his no holds barred electro dubstep post apocalyptic re working. A mass of twisted edits and rapid gun fire gurning bass. Eric Farris supplies the straight...
Acid overload, fuck this is dirty, makes the Chems sound like Jedward! Calvin Harris' Fly Eye label continues to supply dancefloor bangers and following on from the worldwide success of his 'Awooga' record, Calvin welcomes Bart B More and Tommie Sunshine to the label with their acid infused 'Bodywork'.

Another fine release from Tim Healey's stable, this time from the Brazilian duo Dirtyloud who have very quickly shown themselves to be bass gurus. Equally at home with electro, dubstep and Dn'B and that's pretty hard to achieve. The title track on this EP is a bass heavy edit-fest like no other! Think Daft Punk, but after they've fallen though a dubstep bass bin looking glass, with MC SirReal overseeing proceedings. Electro edit- tastic sub step! And since their love of bass shows no bounds, th...
How do they do it? France's favourite graphic designers return with a slab of concrete dance music immediately recognisable as theirs - but yet pushing their sound on a notch, with the addition of a killer chorus. "The beating of a million drums", they cry - and if you listen not all that carefully it's easy to imagine the drummers themselves at the back of this reassuringly heavy rhythm. Served with a dash of funk and some tempting remixes from Mr Oizo and Fucking Champs, this is without doubt ...
Official, this is a BIG TUNE. Think growling undulating purring B line from Dizzee Rascal's 'Bonkers', add to that the mc stylings of SirReal who has worked along side Pendulum and Freestylers. Add the production know how of two big name electro and trance producers who are intent on keeping their identity a secret (but who apparently have the phattest Brighton based studio) and you have one mighty ass tune on your hands. The production is indeed impeccable on this you can tell that the equipmen...
Always love a mutli genre Mutate records release you can always rely on them for some quality bleepy future electronic audio. Cakeboy cooks up a high-energy good time breakbeat party pumper with robotic female vocal samples, disco string stabs, the requisite Mutate bleeps and blips and bounces onto the dancefloor with boundless energy. Dubstep supremo JFB's remix sees skippy beats and pumping bass overlaid with atmospheric pads. Kickflip turns in a whirling dervish of a funking bass monster. The...
Not content with running one label (Giant Pussy with Deekline), the super busy man on a mission Mr Tim Healey steps out with release number one on his brand new label Surfer Rosa. Here he teams up with another top-notch production buddy Calvertron. The bass really does hit you in the chest on this low-slung sexy groover. Then the electro synth kicks in, reminiscent of 80's children theme tunes, quirkily cute and more- ish. Krafty Kuts turns in the breakbeat quotient with a rather Vitalic-ish ele...
You never know what to expect from a Maelstrom release genre wise, that's why we love him. He's equally adept at breaks, electro, fidget, techno, dubstep and this EP touches on all of the above. 'Outta Congo' sees tropical beats colliding with 4/4 's and dubstep bad boy attitude and the biggest wobble bass guaranteed to dislodge your fillings. If you were a fan of 'Jungle Jacker' you will be into this. 'Root Knife' has the best intro I've heard in a while, a fusion of electro. 80's hip hop and 7...
Deekline & Tim Healey's booty, electro bass, wobbling imprint step things up with Brazilian duo Felguk who have remixed for the likes of Madonna no less! A real wobbler of a squelch-bass and euphoric rave synth slap you in the face on this big party stadium anthem with super tight production. Sporty O delivers his inimitable West coast Miami vocal stylings on this high octane super synth fuelled pumeller. Watch out for the frankly insane breakdown where the bpm speeds up to gabba / D N B pro...
