King Street Sounds

Tuesday, 21 May 2013 in Back to Mine

Celebrating 15 years in the biz, King Street Sound share with us their fav' tunes to play after a hard day at the office.

Hisa Ishioka

1. Manuel Gottsching - E2-E4 - Ashra
Amazing track - You need to hear this on a great sound system!

2. Ms. Sharon Ridley - Changin' - Tabu Records
This song changes the atmosphere of the room - A beautiful song!

3. Ananda Project - Cascades of Colour - Nite Grooves
This song was one of our most successful and I'm honored to be the label that put this one out!

4. Kimblee - Fade - WAVE Music
This is a song I can hear over and over. Every time I hear it it's like the first time. Love hearing a large crowd sing along to this!

5. Kimara Lovelace - Only You - King Street
Great songwriting & Great vocal performance + Danny Tenaglia's remix of this tune proves that everything this man touches turns to gold.

joeB Berinato

1. Charles Webster 'Ready' - Peacefrog Records
This was my Summer '08 no-stress chill track. Absolutely beautiful. I imagine myself at the beach with this tune blasting out of my headphones and ALL of life's problems seem to melt away.

2. Jully Black 'Until I Stay' (Alix Alvarez Remix) - Universal
Alix can do no wrong! Have been listening to this for months.

3. Sunshine Jones 'If You Wouldn't Mind' (Tiger Stripes Remix) - Nite Grooves
A great instrumental! Not too over-bearing & just enough pump for head-noddin'-booty-shakin' satisfaction.

4. Change - 'A Lover's Holiday' (12' Remix) - WEA
Classic Garage tune! No one can touch this one. Feel like putting on roller SKATES (not blades) every time I hear it!

5. DunnEasy feat. Monique Bingham 'Won't Stop' (Acapella) - Jellybean Soul / Bigga Sounds
The full production and remix is amazing but Monique's voice is SO enchanting & her lyrics so poetic that I need to hear this solo sometimes.

'15 Years Of Paradise : 15 DJs Recap 15 Years' is released September 15th 2008 on King Street Sounds (USA)
